<\/p> $\"1c83d226be62632d9d86ddc67e079a31\"$ <\/a>Psalm 9:10 ~ Those who know your name trust in you, for you, Lord, have never forsaken those who seek you.<\/strong>\n

When I take time to think about just who God has been in my life, it gives me an overwhelming sense of peace because He has been Jehovah Shalom, Lord of Peace.\u00a0 He has been Jehovah Shammah (The Lord is There) because I can think about how He has been a friend when earthly friends were not available or just didn\u2019t understand.\u00a0 He provides a listening ear and a loving heart no matter when I call.\u00a0 God has been a comforter when my heart was hurting so bad that it felt like I could hardly breathe.\u00a0 He has been a healer (Jehovah Rapha) when pain seemed to take over my body.\u00a0 He has been my counselor when the stresses of this world would send my mind in a tailspin. \u00a0He is continually providing for me as Jehovah Jireh, insuring my needs are met and then some.\u00a0 God, like any good parent, has also disciplined me when I have been disobedient because He loves me so much that He wants to protect me from the harm my disobedience can cause.\u00a0 He has shown me time and time again that He is here for me.\u00a0 He has been my Shepherd (Jehovah-Raah) because through the Holy Spirit, He consistently has given me wisdom, insight and discernment that has helped me overcome obstacle after obstacle.<\/p>\n

So when those moments of insecurities begin to creep in; when it seems the plan I think is best doesn\u2019t work, I know I need to trust God.\u00a0 He is the same God that delivered me through past situations.\u00a0 He promised He would never leave nor forsake me.\u00a0 I must remember the words of the old gospel song by Rev. James Cleveland, \u201cNobody told me the road would be easy, but I don\u2019t believe He brought me this far to leave me.\u201d\u00a0 If God has allowed me to see another day on this earth, He still has purpose for me here.\u00a0 He has a plan to prosper me and not to harm. (Jeremiah 29:11).\u00a0 As a child of God, He has made that same promise to you. Let\u2019s stand together on God\u2019s promises.<\/p>\n

Prayer:<\/strong>\u00a0 Lord, we thank You for all You have been to us.\u00a0 Thank you for being El Shaddai, the Lord God Almighty and El Elyon, the Most High God.\u00a0 We thank you for loving us so much that You have a special and individual plan for each and everyone of Your children.\u00a0 In Jesus name, Amen!<\/p>\n

Purpose in Action:<\/strong> Take time this week to think and pray on the different names of God and how He reflects them in your life.<\/p>\n
