Are You in Need of Restoration?

Posted on May 3, 2015 Written by LiKeisha Leave a Comment

images-2Psalm 23:3 ~ He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.

Are you in need of restoration? As is the habit of sheep, we can wander off into things that bring sorrow to our souls. Sin causes us to stray from God and will deplete us of our joy. Our heavenly Father so cares for each of us, that He is always there for us, even when we wander away from Him. When we recognize that we have strayed, we must humbly come before God, repent and ask for forgiveness. God will gladly restore our souls.

Sometimes, are souls may become weary by the circumstances of life such as loss of loved ones, failed relationships, illness, etc. When the troubles of this life happen, we must find rest in God. We must allow Him to restore us.

When we seek God’s face, He promises to lead us in the paths of righteousness. Don’t get caught up in your failures, missteps, and blatant acts of sin. When you sincerely repent, trust God to keep His promises. We were made righteousness through the sacrifice of Jesus. Trust God’s love unfailing love for you; because even when we fail, His love for us can’t fail. He still has a path and purpose for you that glorify Him.

Prayer: Lord thank you for restoring my soul; strengthening my spirit. Thank you for your continued guidance on the path of righteousness.   I pray that I will live out Your purpose for my life, so that You will be glorified. Amen.

Purpose in Action: Is you soul weary right now? Take your cares to God and allow him to restore your soul.

For His Purpose,

LiKeisha

Change of Season

December 13, 2015 By LiKeisha Leave a Comment

Ecclesiastes 3:1 ~ There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens. Christ was born so that none of us would have to experience the seasons of life alone, whether they are joyous or seasons of sorrow. Just as we have seasons of the year, there are seasons in […]

Overcoming Lonely Places

December 6, 2015 By LiKeisha Leave a Comment

Luke 5:16 ~ But Jesus often withdrew to lonely places and prayed. (NIV) Some of you may be more familiar with the King James translation of this scripture that says Jesus withdrew into the wilderness.  I always just looked at this verse as Jesus taking time to be alone to pray, which we all should […]

Patiently Waiting

November 29, 2015 By LiKeisha Leave a Comment

James 5:7-8 ~ Be patient, then brothers and sisters, until the Lord’s coming.  See how the farmer waits for the land to yield its valuable crop, patiently waiting for the autumn and spring rains.  You too, be patient and stand firm, because the Lord’s coming is near. Waiting is a part of life.  Even in […]
