Thankful

Psalm 107:1 Give thanks to the Lord for He is good! His faithful love endures forever.

As I celebrate another year of life today, the one word that keeps coming to my mind is “thankful.” I am so thankful that God has blessed me to see another year. I am thankful for how He loves me even when I didn’t love myself. I thank God for His protection and provision. I thank God for not giving me my fleshly desires; but instead He continues to change my heart and shape my desires to reflect His will. I am thankful for family and friends that I know have prayed for me even when they didn’t know my struggle. I am thankful for God lifting me from a pit of depression and through that allows me to share His word of encouragement with others.

I am thankful for each and every one of you. I know for many of you it’s just a virtual connection but I pray that through it God is glorified. I am thankful.

Prayer: Lord, I pray blessings over each and every reader. We are thankful for Your many blessings that are too numerous to name. Thank you for Your unfailing love towards us. Amen.
